Dial A Star - Where Z Listers Go To Die

Holllllyyyyyy F*ck. No wonder Lindsay Lohan is so screwed up. Look at her parents. Seriously, an all time low. Linds never stood a chance. If my parents did this I'd have to escape with booze and drugs as well. I an officially afraid for the state of humanity. I actually can't believe this is real.

A Hollywood hotline is offering a new service to the celebrity-obsessed - paid-for calls that cost as little as $5 per minute.
Dial-a-Star.com sells itself as a phone service that offers 'completely discreet one-on-one' conversations with 'REAL celebrities'.
And while calls with Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie are not up for offer, a roster of 30 reality television wonders, D-list actors, models and entertainers do make the roster -  'Octomom' Nadya Suleman, and Lindsay's Lohan's flamboyant parents Michael and Dina Lohan among them.

Dial a Star Website

As ABC News reports, the website, launched last week, started as a way to connect stars directly with their fans.
Dial-a-Star owner Gina Rodriguez tells ABC: 'I manage several controversial personalities and receive a lot of fan mail and emails requesting to talk to my clients. So I created Dial-a-Star.com so the celebs can communicate with the fans and followers.'

Of course, that service comes with a price - depending on who you're talking to.
Nadya Suleman's phone calls, for example, cost $12 per minute; Dina Lohan's time is more expensive than ex-husband Michael, with minutes tallying $25 and $18 each, respectively - still much more than actor Jeremy London's $15.
Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick, Tila Tequila, Michael Lohan's ex-fiancee Kate Major, Tiger Woods' infamous mistress Rachel Uchitel, Real Housewives' star Danielle Staub, and porn star Capri Anderson - known for her dalliance with Charlie Sheen - are among other recognisable names on the list - at least, to reality television lovers and tabloid readers.

I have never heard of any of these "celebrities".

Calls with the 'celebrities', range between $5 and $27 per minute, the most going to celebrity bodyguard Herzog. Who!?!?!?!?!?!

The paid-for conversations are completely anonymous, according to the website, where buttons appear under names and pictures of the stars, prompting viewers 'Click to call me!' 'Book a session', and even noting when the names are 'On a call'.
Once a call is booked, customers receive a phone call at the agreed upon time from the Dial-a-Star system.
The website explains: 'When you answer you will hear, "Thank you for using MyPhoneSite.com, please hold while you are connected". You will then be placed on hold while the Star you selected is connected.'
Ms Rodriguez told ABC News Ms Suleman receives 50 per cent of the money made from Dial-a-Star calls. She did not elaborate on what other stars earn from their deals.

    I need a drink.
