World's First Diamond Ring - Made Out of One Diamond

Size does matter, apparently.

Switzerland-based Shawish Jewelry has created a diamond ring that trumps Beyoncé’s 18-carat engagement ring from Jay-Z or the late Elizabeth Taylor’s 30-carat stunner from Richard Burton –- a 150-carat diamond ring. And when we mean diamond ring, we literally mean a diamond ring. As in: an entire ring completely made out of a huge chunk of diamond, and nothing else. Price tag

It took the team at Shawish a year to carve the dazzler (understandable) — and don’t even think about trying to make a copy of the design; it’s already been copyrighted. If diamonds are a girl's best friend, this must be a girl's personal flying, cupcake-baking magical unicorn.

I mean, look at this ring.
We thought Kim Kardashian's $2 million dollar rock was huge, but clearly there's always a bigger fish.
But this still begs the question: Who could possibly be enough of a diva to rock such intense bling?
Looks like Snooki's already spoken for. Perhaps this could serve as a heads up to Scott Disick in case he ever decides to propose to Kourtney Kardashian. Maybe Mariah Carey wants to trade up? Push present for Bey?
For more equally unforgettable and unaffordable blingage, head over to Splash News for a look at their 10 most expensive celebrity engagement rings.
