Chanel Fall Winter 2012

Paris Fashion Week continues, this time with fashion powerhouse Chanel. Set in the Grand Palais, giant crystals were placed on the runway, setting a very futuristic tone. 

Giant spears of mock-crystal filled the vast domed space, as the models filed past with crystal encrusted eyebrows and shoes, walking on a floor of glittering mineral dust.

The set provided the perfect backdrop for the collection, featuring shades of grey and monochrome, offset with pops of colour. Velvet handbags, coloured paneling and ruched silk dresses in metallic blue added to the futuristic theme.
