The Caribbean singer stepping out in a trench coat... and apparently nothing else, in Sydney yesterday.
Out for dinner ahead of her long flight home, it appeared the 23-year-old singer was wearing a tightly wrapped coat as she gave a glimpse of her bare legs.
The singer, who has been touring the world promoting her new film Battleship, wore the daring outfit to celebrate her best friend Melissa Forde's birthday.
Meanwhile, the pop star narrowly avoided a meeting with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown as she left Sydney later that evening.
The troubled R&B star jetted into Sydney just as Rihanna was leaving.
The fact that his new girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, was by his side could have made the encounter awkward, to say the least.
Rihanna looked comfortable in black leggings and an Oakland Raiders cap and T-shirt as she prepared to leave the Australian city.
She flew halfway across the world to promote her first major film, Battleship.
The Bajan beauty attended the film's Sydney premiere on Tuesday looking elegant in a tailored black suit.

Meanwhile, it was rumoured that she would be appearing onstage with her ex at the Supafest hip-hop festival in Brisbane on April 14.
It would be the first time that the two would have performed the hit Turn Up The Music together, as well as their controversial Birthday Cake remix.
Brown, 22, will be appearing at the festival alone.
Coming and going: Rihanna leaves Sydney just as Chris Brown arrived
He and Rihanna dated for over a year from 2008 until 2009, when he was arrested for domestically assaulting her en route to the 2009 Grammy Awards.
She has since reconnected with him, and has taken flak for her continued relationship with a man who once battered her.
Rihanna has finally opened up about their reunion in the May issue of Elle magazine.
She said: 'I respect what other people have to say. The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently.
'It's very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that's all right. I don't hate them for it.'
And perhaps defiantly in the interview which is accompanied by typically raunchy pictures, she added: 'I'm still going to do what I want to do.'
Following the brutal assault in 2009, the singer admitted it was 'the hardest time of my life'.
'I was angry, sad, confused, torn. I was still in love. And I needed to talk about it.'
A source told the New York Post, 'Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she’ll do whatever the hell she wants to'.
Apparently the You Da One performer's camp fear that she will go on to record an album with Brown just to spite Roc Nation who have desperately tried to stop the two from meeting.
