Britney Spears' $20 000 Sports Bra

It only covered a tiny portion of her body but the sports bra Britney Spears wore to show off her newly-toned midriff costs more than $20,000.

The 30-year-old pop star wore the Eternal Love Bra, designed by  fitness brand Body Rock, in a promotional photograph for a new game called Twister Dance.

According to Kelly Dooley, the company's founder, five more of the bras that each feature an 18-carat gold zipper and hand-cut Swarovski crystal hearts, have been sold. Further custom orders have also been placed.

The silk bra, which features a striped print, also includes an 18-carat gold removable tassel with attached diamond-eyed skull trinkets.

The product is also encrusted with further silver diamond Swarovski crystals across the front and the back to create a studded effect.

 

 Dooley told Fashionista.com she is 'constantly' getting new custom orders from health-conscious women.

She said: 'Those who have a little extra pep in their step, who are confident, unique, motivated and inspiring. It is for the woman who wants to treat herself to something fabulous and appreciates luxury.'

The Trenta bra, which features a detachable sterling silver charm bracelet and necklace. It is priced at $1,850 and is studded with Swarovski crystals

'If you want to just wear the shell of the bra, you can or you have the option to add a ton of bling for going out after a nice workout.'

The company offer other luxury sports bras like the Trenta Bra which costs $1,850.

The faux fur design, called the Tzarina Bra, is available in hot pink and other colors

It features a detachable sterling silver charm bracelet and necklace that are both fastened to a spandex bra, and is also encrusted with black Swarovski crystals.

Dooley said she was inspired to offer a more stylish range of fitness apparel after being disappointed with the options she found out there.

'I didn't want a sports bra that looked like prison wear. I started to create the beautiful array of what we like to call 'style-wear'. It is all too beautiful to be called sportswear, yet is it constructed to take you through a triathlon.'

While it may seem to some that the designs feature unnecessary details for a person who is most likely to be sweating all over such expensive materials,  Dooley said the garments are intended to be functional as well as fashion-friendly.

'Functionality comes before fashion,' she said. 'We just know how to make everything look beautiful and edgy because we're fashion-forward... and in tune with what women truly want.'
