Swimsuit Models Protest Kardashian Store Opening

It's rather convenient that when model Joanna Krupa announced her intention to protest the Kardashians' DASH boutique, the entire family fled LA.
The 32-year-old swimsuit model and fellow bombshell Katie Cleary followed through with their intention of staging an anti-fur protest outside Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian's Calabasas, California based store today.
However, the sisters were nowhere in the vicinity to be found.

The silent protest: While model Joanna Krupa protesed at her DASH boutique in Calabasas today, Kim Kardashian was in the Dominican Republic

Instead, they hopped on a plane along with mother Kris and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie for some fun in the Dominican Republic sun.
The leggy ladies managed to attract a lot of attention, though they couldn't present the sisters with a petition signed by 140,000 people.

Fur is bad! Models Joanna Krupa and Katie Cleary are dashing for a cause

Kissing up: Comedian Dick got a little love from the swimsuit models

They were joined by comedian Andy Dick, whom they gave a lot of loving.
They hugged the 46-year-old and joint kiss on the cheek.
Krupa even lovingly posed with the petition book holding the signatures of those who were opposed to the sisters selling fur at their store.

Don't keep up with the Kardashians: The two models must have been peeved that no one from the family showed face

Let me tell you what we're here to do: While peaceful, this protest was not silent

Meanwhile, the Kardashians were on the last legs of their Dominican Republic trip, where they have been filming their reality show.

Kissing the book: Krupa kissed the 140,000 signatures she received from anti-fur protesters

It's easy to see why Kim might not have wanted to be present for the protest, given that she not only loves to wear fur, but was flour-bombed during an initial protest just over a week ago.
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, 32-year-old Polish American model Krupa said: 'One of the most influential families in the entertainment industry that could help give animals a voice on a large scale are the Kardashians.
'As a fashion-forward family with their clothing line in stores all over the US, they have the power to influence millions of people around the world.'

The group has decided to target DASH after Kim announced her intention to relocate their store to Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
She wrote on her blog: 'This weekend Kourt, Khloe, and I all met with designer Jeff Andrews to start working on the new DASH LA store.
'Since we've opened DASH stores in Miami and NYC we decided that we want to re-vamp our west coast store and open a brand new LA location!'

This latest protest comes hot on the heels of Kim's flour bombing by a woman believed to be an animal rights activist last month. Though PETA has denied the woman was working with them, Kim's younger sister, Khloe, has pulled her support from their campaign.  She did not take too kindly to anyone calling her elder sibling a 'fur hag.' I thought it was hilarious, but whatever Khloe...

Touching down: Kim and her family arrived back into Los Angeles last night

Flour bomb: Kim was assaulted by a flour bomber at an event at The London Hotel in West Hollywood last month

Easy target: Kim got nailed with a flour bomb in late March
